Buprenorphine with valerian?

Hello. I take bupre for several years. From time to time I get valium from the doctor to decrease the dosage. But I am afraid of the withdrawal which I already had sometimes. But while taking valium I need much less of bupre, and I feel very calm and free of stress. I heard of valerian, but when I w...

Re: Bupre, breastfeeding and weaning

11 days without nursing and everything is fine, thanks God. Now I need not to be afraid of it anymore, right? Because my doctor said that the withdrawal symptoms can still occur after weeks, but I think he just used it to make me afraid and stop the buprenorphine earlier. No, I am German, living in ...

Re: Bupre, breastfeeding and weaning

I take 0,6 mg buprenorphine daily. My son now didn't nurse since 4 days without any problems. That means that there won't be any withdrawal for him anymore, right? About the benzos, yes, I know what you mean, but I did it with it earlier, and I wouldn't take it throughout the whole process, but only...

Re: My Suboxone/Buprenorphine Story

Hi Starryl, Did I understand well that you quit breastfeeding while on subutex? Please tell me about it because my doctor says I first need to wean the drugs. My boy now didn't drink for 3 days, so I had to guess there won't be any withdrawal symptoms, right? Because the doctor said that the symptom...

Bupre, breastfeeding and weaning

Hi all together, I am back after years. My boy is well although I kept taking 0,6 mg bupre a day while nursing. Now I want to stop both things. As I want to use lyrica or oxazepam as helpers, I want to stop the nursing first. My boy is now 31 months and he some days doesn't drink already. BUT NOW my...

Re: NAS and phenobarbital

Today the pediatrician allowed us to stop the pheno. And no, no seizures and no other drugs or things like that. So I guess it is okay to just stop.

NAS and phenobarbital

Hi, my boy is born and actually healthy. But he suffered from NAS after 2 days and the docs gave him phenobarbital. I still have to give it to him 2 times daily 2,5 ml (10 mg). They say he will grow out of it and it can be stopped after 3 months or so. Anybody any experiences with this? I actually d...

buprenorphine and sudden infant death?

Hello,

I asked myself if there is a relation between taking buprenorphine while being pregnant and then while breastfeeding and sudden infant death syndrome?

Thanks,

Won

Re: 0,4 mg buprenorphine - 20 weeks pregnant - RLS

Hi 1234km, and thanks for your advices and your story. After my operation in 2010 I was 10 months without any medicine, and I had RLS, too. But then it was the same way you told. I slept only less, but I slept. When the pain came back and I recieved oxycodone, I was very happy first because I could ...

0,4 mg buprenorphine - 20 weeks pregnant - RLS

Hi everyone!!! I am 20 wks pregnant and actually very happy with it. When I became pregnant I was on the last steps of reducing my Temgesic (I live in Europe where this is very common) and took 0,4 mg of Buprenorphine a day. My docs said that this was no problem, but if I could, I should stop, which...
