Re: Warning: Rant about Robin William's Death
PS. I think I'm going to start calling you No BS. Is that OK? You can call me anything you want, just not late for midnight cookie and cream :D Is your bipolar disorder being handled well right now with medications, or some other method? I do little of both. I'm somewhere between bipolar 2 and bipol...

Re: Warning: Rant about Robin William's Death
Assuming you haven't seen it, you'll find a lot of interesting info on this site, Amy (as well as any others interested in the subject matter): ABSTRACT Opiates were used to treat major depression until the mid-1950s. The advent of opioids with mixed agonist-antagonist or partial agonist activity, w...

Re: Warning: Rant about Robin William's Death
If my heart was still alive I know it would surely break And my memories left with you There's nothing more to say Moving on is a simple thing What it leaves behind is hard You know the sleeping feel no more pain And the living are scarred A tout le monde (To all the world) A tout mes amis (To all ...

Re: Intoverted/Extroverted
I find myself up far too early!! So I thought I would reply quickly for once! My dad is definitely an ENFP so I'm familiar with the fun of being around one! My dad is definitely an idea person, a dreamer, sometimes a pie in the sky type dreamer. He's often inspirational to be around! He has difficu...

Re: Intoverted/Extroverted
No Boop, those are some great links! For those people who are interested in how they fall on the personality test, it's very easy to do online. The explanations for each category are well explained. I scored as an ENFJ in my early 20s. In fact, I'm so far on the judging side that an extreme perceiv...

Re: Intoverted/Extroverted
I've been thinking a lot about people who are introverted versus extroverted. The Meyers-Briggs Personality Test (based on Carl Jung's theories) describes the difference based on the way you recharge yourself. An extrovert needs to be around other people to gain energy and maintain their balance. A...

Re: Just started suboxone, horrible nausea & vomiting
What Amy said.^^ Nausea is a common side effect of dosing too high with any opiate/opiod, and the 8 mg strip seems like overkill. I was on about 40 mg a day of oxy and 2 mg set me straight, and I got down to 1 mg fast after that. So yeah, try lowering it. Also, if it keeps up. one trick that can wo...

Re: Intoverted/Extroverted
h0pe, Amy has stated what you just said many times on the forum. She's still on Suboxone, but she also understands how when people quit Suboxone, there can be a hate that develops and she gets it. On this thread, Amy wanted to talk about introversion without it turning to talk of to Sub or not to S...

Re: Cutting back on Cig's
BF, if people here can shove Suboxone up their asses, why can't I shove a cig or two up my arse? I'm going for all American Spirit today. I have one pack of Marlboro left, but I left it at home and I got a pack of ASS....ooops, I mean AS with me. Amazingly enough, I like the American Spirit c...

Re: Favorite Book or Recently Read Good Book
Favorite book would be a tough one. I like Dr Seuss's, "Cat In The Hat" a lot, tho. No, really! I wouldn't mind being an author of children's books of such caliber that they still bring me a smile in my adult years, when thinking of them. Good fiction books that I've read very recently, include Stei...
