Re: Using Suboxone as a Psychedelic

Well personally I think you’re thinking way too much about this medication and the added benefits you’re trying to get out of it. Things like the wrapper...... throw the wrapper away, there’s no medicine left inside the wrapper. The part about using it to lucid dream, I have no idea but keep in mind...

Re: Cannot stop itching scrotum..need help

I remember the opiate itches but when it happened to me it was random itching and not in any certain place longer than the next itch come along. The nose maybe itched more but nothing that was bothersome because it was a light itch and that was it. I just hadn’t ever heard of it happening...... down...

Re: Cannot stop itching scrotum..need help

This thread is from 2011 so I doubt the original poster is still around. I had no idea this thread existed and haven’t ever heard of this complaint before especially concerning suboxone as the culprit. I’m not saying it isn’t the culprit because anything is possible but what about suboxone would cau...

Re: Good News Possibly

Hello Lady welcome to the forum. I was like you when I first found this forum. I literally knew almost nothing about a forum. All I knew was this place had all the answers I was wanting to know and there’s a lot of ppl here like myself. I definitely didn’t know how to operate things very well. It’s ...

Re: 30 days off after 14 years on.

You didn’t sound preachy :) You never know something in me may change and I’ll feel like it is my time to go completely off buprenorphine too, I’m totally open to that just as much as I am totally open to long term. I just don’t give myself a hard time for still taking it and feeling like it’s just ...

Re: 30 days off after 14 years on.

I’m grateful to read your story and very happy for you that you’re in a place that you’ve worked so hard to get to. I think I differ from you in the fact that I don’t see anything wrong with remaining on a daily maintenance dose of buprenorphine for long term. If the medicine isn’t causing issues in...

Re: Hoping to go off Suboxone- need feedback

Maybe you could explore other options like the buprenorphine implant or even the vivitrol shot. There’s other options if suboxone works for you but you cannot get past taking extra most of the time. There’s different things you can think about :)

Re: Hi,I am Lisa, new here!

Hello Lisa welcome! Seems like we’re all under some type of stress that covid-19 has brought our way. I’m so over it, so ready for things to go bk to normal again. I haven’t lost my job or even hit unemployment but so many ppl I care about have. Congrats on your recovery! I haven’t read your other p...

Nice Ryan! Definitely keep us updated. I’m wondering if this shot you’re talking about is something like the Vivitrol shot is here in the US. If so, there’s been a lot of ppl reporting success with it and there’s also ppl reporting that they don’t necessarily like it. I’ve heard some talk about thei...

Re: Check In

Bama if it were me I would not stop until you talk to someone at your clinic. You have the right for peace of mind. Call or heck even drive over there until you get the answer you need. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with doing that. I worked in the front office of our clinic Wednesday and a lot o...

Re: Never sick, never even sneeze. Is this normal?

You aren’t the only one rule, I get sick too now, I only wondered about not getting sick during active addiction days. I actually am sick now, have been since Saturday but no fever, just a minor minor cough and runny nose with horrible fatigue. I honestly think it’s a sinus infection. I always get a...

Re: My story

Sometimes people who taper off buprenorphine have a way of thinking those of us who haven’t are 'stuck' or 'addicted to suboxone' and that just isn’t the case. That’s nowhere near the case honestly. Suboxone can be long term for MANY ppl and not so long term for others...... we’re all so very differ...

Re: After years on suboxone caused bradycardia

I absolutely agree with bluelight and the others, suboxone isn’t the cause of your problems. Why do you think it is the source of all these issues anyway? I know some ppl get into recovery and that’s sometimes when health issues start becoming more noticeable and it’s easier to think suboxone is wha...

Re: I need some help please.

I think the reason you aren’t feeling better is because your tolerance is high from fentanyl. I don’t think you have precipitated withdrawal, I think you just aren’t feeling better because your tolerance is higher than the suboxone right now. It’s called tolerance mismatch..... this is just my opini...

Re: Never sick, never even sneeze. Is this normal?

I have always said that during my active addiction I rarely got sick. I remember talking about this several times and I drew the conclusion that I either didn’t get sick or I was high and it just didn’t bother me as much. The being high part wouldn’t be exactly right though because I didn’t stay hig...
