Re: What's the difference between the film's & the pills?
I have no insurance either. I’ve been in suboxone treatment for over 8 years now and haven’t had insurance the entire time. My clinic is $350 a month and the medicine isn’t cheap either. But I will say this, it depends on the area you live in on what the prices are for this medication. In my area th...

Re: Questions on switching from Methadone to Suboxone
My doctor didn’t prescribe the oxycodone to the patient that transitioned from methadone to suboxone but what happened was is it was told that if the patient wanted to use shorter term opiates while waiting the two weeks they were going to have to wait they could. If someone is taking methadone or f...

Jason I don’t know where to start with your post. Honestly I don’t think this forum is in favor of anything that is short term suboxone treatment. It is recommended to stay on this medicine for at least a year. At least 1 year. I think you must have found one thread and took from it what ya wanted t...

Hello Jwc welcome. I think most of us have gotten certain brands that seem like they don’t work as well as others. I think I actually have the brand you’re talking about right now and I don’t have any issues with them. There are certain brands I stay away from because I don’t think they do as well f...

Re: Suboxone has started making me Nauseous. Anyone else?
The only ppl that I’ve heard getting sick from buprenorphine are the ppl who’s tolerance is too low for it. If you have stopped taking it enough to keep up with the dose you’re used to then imo you are letting your tolerance get too low. If your tolerance is low then take a lower dose or taper and s...

Re: Need some help please
Personally if it were me I wouldn’t stop taking buprenorphine if it helps you. You could taper to a lower dose and stay there until you’re a hundred percent sure you’re ready to be totally abstinent. Like docm2 said, he knows nurses who do fine on buprenorphine and there’s no rush that I see UNLESS ...

Re: AN 415 pills
I’ve known several ppl that has asked their pharmacy for specific tablets and the pharmacy holds them some each month. My pharmacy carries two generics and I told them which of the two I’d prefer and now I always get them without asking. Also, at my clinic, if you tell them you have trouble with the...

Hey maitai! Welcome! Wow you have been through the ringer and you come through the other side looking like a champ! Good for you! 1 month! I’d say that’s a huge accomplishment... even though the itching is probably annoying as heck, still great job! I haven’t heard of the itching being a withdrawal ...

Re: Any tips to stop splitting dose throughout day
Hey zon! Welcome back! My dose is 8 mg a day also. Of course the ideal way to take your medication is all at once and be done with it. Most of the time that’s how I do it because my workload is so full that I barely have time to go pee! But I know some ppl do start getting somewhat antsy in the even...

Hey traker! I too get my medication filled in Kentucky. I am not familiar with the type of generic you’re talking about but I had been asking people about the white tablet with a half moon on one side. Those worked so well for me and I cannot get them any longer. Someone said they aren’t making them...

Re: real PAIN after emergency
Butler I’m so sorry you felt like that! We’ve had a few patients go to the ER recently and they were treated so poorly because they were taking buprenorphine. It’s almost like they stop listening after hearing or seeing a patient is taking suboxone. Once that word pops up then earmuffs and blinders ...

Hey drgian welcome! This is a pro suboxone forum so you came to the right place. I had to edit your post though, just to take a couple negative things out. I know you’re frustrated and I think a lot of ppl are who’re ready to taper, it’s pretty common to just be done but along with that comes the fr...
