Re: Always feel sick,weak,tired,etc..

Hi Rob. I feel the same way, But I think it probably has to do with me being in chronic pain constantly. I am on 4mg/day and have been for awhile. Every single morning I have all the common withdrawal symptoms. This has been going on for well over a year. I want to taper off but have been holding ou...

Plus im the kind of person that struggles just taking a quarter or half I get a taste of it and i justify taking more .Thats how i ended up on 3 a day . After re-reading this I feel a bit concerned for you and your recovery. And I mean that in the nicest, most helpful way possible. Can I ask what t...

Re: Im in PAWS HELL

Are you doing anything to help yourself feel better? I know you mentioned diet and exercise. What about mental health? Meditation, breathing exercises, keeping a journal, regular(minimum 1x/week) counseling or therapy? Have you looked into seeing a Psychiatrist? Are you going to meetings or doing an...

Can’t get my refill, new insurance won’t cover

Hey guys. I’m not sure what I’m going to do. I’ve been on 4mg for a few years now and never had this issue before. Well my insurance just switched and they will not cover my meds. (They won’t cover most of my meds, doesn’t matter if it’s generic or not. I’m currently withdrawing from suboxone, antid...

Also consider concurrent clonidine and gabapentin to help with withdrawal. Another underused medication is memantine which can help with withdrawal. Can you please explain the use of Memantine for withdrawals??? How does that work?? What WD symptoms could it possibly help with?? I am on Memantine c...

Re: I'm a pharmacist wanting to understand this issue

Thanks for the replies Amy and Jenn, even though I feel so good in my recovery, it still scares the shit out of me to think about being forced to lower or even come off completely before I feel confident in doing so, simply because of my severe pain and all the ways THAT affects my life. Every singl...

Re: I'm a pharmacist wanting to understand this issue

I always have issues when I get put on the Dr. Reddy generics. I was on brand-name Suboxone for almost 5 years. My daily dose has been 4mg/day for the majority of my time on this medication. Sometimes the pharmacy would give me generic and I would ALWAYS feel like I need a dose increase when on the ...

Re: Suboxone after Spinal Cord Stimulator

Have you tried the prescription "Lactulose" ? It is the ONLY thing that has worked for me. Its extremely safe and an old med, I got lucky enough to have my neurologist recommend it and I was amazed (and upset) that it was never mentioned by my doctors in the previous 5 years I had been having SEVERE...

Insurance denying "early refill" for Vacation

Hi guys, As some of you may know, Ive been on subxone & in recovery for almost 5 years (anniversary coming up in 2 weeks!) Ive never ran into this problem but am dealing with it now, I had to go to group for my monthly refill one week earlier than normal, since I am going on a family trip to Disney ...

Re: Sandoz Generic Strips

Thank you so much for this post BlueLight. I tried dr. Reddy and the yellow box, they were terrible so my pharmacy has ordered sandoz. From what I have read, it's the same company so it's the same product. What do you mean exactly, when you say "they were terrible" ??? I've been taking the Dr. Redd...

Re: Does too much saliva affect the absorption?

I really don't believe 3 to 5 minutes is all you need. I agree that it is best to keep the film dissolving for as long as possible before swallowing your saliva.. but I do not use the "painting" method as I am on a lower dose and can't even taste the suboxone at all by the time it is dissolved (whic...

Re: Suboxone at 2 mg currently, have ability to go lower.

Hey there! I personally believe that all antidepressants have the ability to cause withdrawals. Which is why like anything, it is more favorable to taper off... I'm not sure how old or young you are, but it might help you to not even keep your family "in the loop" with your recovery, or at least not...

That is a hippa violation and should NOT be tolerated!!! I go to my local Kroger (I live in Ohio) and have never had a single complaint with ANY of the pharmacists or techs. We also have students that help in the pharmacy too.. Always kind and respectful. You are allowed to ask for more privacy when...

Re: NEW GENERIC STRIPS

How much is sublocade suppose to deliver on a daily basis ? I didn't even know it existed until I saw this thread. When I asked about Sublocade my suboxone nurse said it isn't a good option for me since I am under 8mg/day it would be like raising my dose. So I assume that means the lowest would giv...

Re: Suboxone at 2 mg currently, have ability to go lower.

Try to find a hobby! I know from personal experience how when you are depressed you just want to sleep and not "deal" with things. Are you seeing a counselor? I know a lot of people say it really helps to "push yourself" to do SOME type of physical activity. Even if it is just driving to a park and ...

Re: NEW GENERIC STRIPS

(I did not receive Sandoz’s version, I received Dr. Reddy) so that is why I’m confused as to why I was given Dr. Reddy’s generic films, if Sandoz is now the manufacturer of what used to be “Suboxone”, (which is now being sold by Sandoz as a generic version), why did I not get Sandoz’s version of the...
