Re: New law in AZ requires diagnosis on script?

Has anyone heard of a new law in AZ that requires the doctor to write your diagnosis on the script? I’ve been getting the same script for 14 months and although I’ve had to jump through a ton of hoops, this is a new one to me. The pharmacist pulled me aside after I had already been waiting 45 minut...

Re: trouble for giving away old sub, now have a p.o.........

I gave away my old subs to a "friend" which ended up with me getting a felony. I am now on probation for a couple years and the only way I will stay out of jail is if I don't relapse. Sub helped me tremendously before but I got off to early. I now am going to see another doctor about getting put on...

Re: question for those on methadone

Let me start by saying that I am a Suboxone patient. The reason why I am writing this post is because my friend was a Methadone patient but she recently switched to Suboxone. When she first started at the Methadone clinic many years ago, she was really out of control and needed the rigorous structur...

Re: Why I'm angry towards Suboxone.

The crazy part is that naloxone does nothing to prevent addicts from injecting it, like it was meant to do. Many addicts shoot up bupe and suffer no ill effects. Yet, my doctor will absolutely not give me plain buprenorphine. Meaning, he doesn't keep up like we do about our drug. My doctor at CARE ...

Re: Why I'm angry towards Suboxone.

Hey all, thanks for this post. I just want to make sure that I am not the only one who is confused about this topic. My understanding is that Naloxone WILL BLOCK the affects of opioids ONLY IF YOU INJECT SUBOXONE. So people can inject Subutex, but they cannot inject Suboxone because of the Naloxone....

Re: What's the difference between the film's & the pills?

I have no insurance either. I’ve been in suboxone treatment for over 8 years now and haven’t had insurance the entire time. My clinic is $350 a month and the medicine isn’t cheap either. But I will say this, it depends on the area you live in on what the prices are for this medication. In my area t...

Re: What's the difference between the film's & the pills?

Even though the previous posts on this topic were in April 2020, I can say that they missed the biggest difference between the pills and the films. Before I answer this question, let me tell you that I have tried the films in the past and kinda of liked them. About 3 months ago, I went to CARE Clini...

Questions on switching from Methadone to Suboxone

When I first started treatment at CARE Clinic for Drug Addiction in Central Mississippi about 3 months ago, I was always bragging about how great the clinic was because of the personalized treatment that I received and the low cost for the office visits and medications. My friend who was on Methadon...

Re: How can a clinic doctor be so uninformed?!!!!

I wanted to chime in on this discussion, even though all of the posts were from 2012. If I were in your shoes and my Methadone doctor tried switching me to Suboxone on the next day, I would RUN to a doctor that knew what he or she was doing and NEVER look back. When I first started treatment at CARE...

Re: Coupons used at clinic?

I know that all of the previous posts for this question were in 2013, but I wanted to respond because I have some input which is current. Just so that you understand my situation, I have currently been on Suboxone for a few months and I do not have any health insurance. I go to CARE Clinic for Drug ...

Re: 4TH time stopping subz..can be done

I don't know what to say to you Jason. If you think that it is better for your body to go through the ups-and-downs of relapsing on opioids (rather than staying on Suboxone and slowly being tapered off), then you probably have a lot to learn. I'm not a doctor, but I would think that a slow Suboxone ...

Re: Bad Headache around orbital bones

I had similar types of headaches when I started Suboxone a few months ago. These headaches were intense and would not go away with over-the-counter treatments like Tylenol or Motrin. My Suboxone doctor at CARE Clinic for Drug Addiction in Central Mississippi has experience treating headaches and he ...

Re: Need some help please

Jon, I was fortunate to find this website forum yesterday and started posting on it to help people out. However I think that I was meant to find you because I can specifically help you out. First of all, you should not taper yourself off Suboxone. What you need is a doctor who believes in getting pe...

Re: SO FRUSTRATED. Need help with zubsolv.

Sorry, I was hoping that you were closer to Mississippi. (I have never been to Illinois and I don't know any of the places in Illinois that you are mentioning.) It is weird that your doctor has a problem with Gabapentin and this is really a BIG red flag. I can ask my doctor at CARE Clinic for Drug A...

Re: Still in the tapering process

WOW, I am impressed that you are on such a low dose of Suboxone that I don't see how you could even get any benefit from this medication. The anxiety, restlessness, and insomnia that you get before you take 0.3 mg of Suboxone could probably be resolved with meditation or with non-opioid/non-benzo ty...

I'm D.K. and it's nice to meet everyone. I was a little bored, went online, and fortunately found this site. I have been learning a lot after reading some interesting posts and also (hopefully) helping others with my experience from opioid addiction. My main contribution to this site is that I see a...

Great clinic in central Mississippi (and could work for TN/AR/LA/AL)

I have been very lucky because I have found a really great doctor and a really great clinic. I live in Mississippi and I am going to CARE Clinic for Drug Addiction in Central Mississippi. First of all, the clinic is very affordable. There are no higher charges on the first visits and then affordable...
