Re: How long is the longest patient out there?

Before you, I think the longest I had ever heard of someone being on Suboxone was 9 years. 9 years or 11 years or 20 years, if it's working for you and keeping you clean and you're happy with it, stick with it.

Opiates are known to affect testosterone in men. Get your T levels checked.

Re: 6 months clean and doing ok

Hey TeeJay, so good to hear from you and it's GREAT to hear you're doing so well. In my experience, 9 months is a big marker to hit. Right around 9 months is when I really started to feel pretty close to 100%, but you also know right around 9 months is when my first slip happened. Stay strong, bro, ...

Re: Warning: Rant about Robin William's Death

Hey boop, thanks for that post. I was just talking to a friend of mine who was on Suboxone, then quit, but the depression came back and now they're considering going back on just to treat the depression. I gave them a link to your post.

BTW, TGIF, bitches!!!

Re: Sleep Issues

If you're taking your Suboxone in the late afternoon or early evening or right before bed, that could be the issue. While on Suboxone, I learned that I couldn't take my dose any later than 4pm. If I took it after 4pm, I would have a heck of a time getting to sleep.

Re: Boyfriend on subs

I think your bf is the only one who can really tell you what's really going on. Like Amy said, there is just too much fishiness about all of this and that usually means active addiction. Somehow you're going to have to sit down with your bf and have a heart to heart. Be ready for him to get defensiv...

Re: brand new

Hi Kim, Welcome to the forum!! If you're taking two of the 8mg Suboxone pills/films per day, that's a decently high dose. You may be taking too much? What opiate were you on prior to Suboxone and how much? The tummy ache may be constipation from opiates and the racy feeling is, I'm guessing, too muc...

Re: 8 1/2 months off Subutex !!

Hey, thanks for the great post Amelia!! For many of us getting off Suboxone, it takes a good while to really get back to normal and it's easy to lose hope along the way that we'll ever return to a normal state. I hope others who have gotten off Suboxone and are still having issues see this post and ...

Did the endocrinologist prescribe you something, I'm curious? I've been off Suboxone for a good while, but still get sweats. Hate it!!

Re: Intoverted/Extroverted

h0pe, Amy has stated what you just said many times on the forum. She's still on Suboxone, but she also understands how when people quit Suboxone, there can be a hate that develops and she gets it. On this thread, Amy wanted to talk about introversion without it turning to talk of to Sub or not to Su...

Re: Intoverted/Extroverted

Romes, thanks for your perspective. I always appreciate it. I know we've discussed introversion before outside the forum and I'm glad that you posted your ideas here. I know I need to seek a good balance and you help motivate me to do that. The fact that you have a full time job, for example, makes...

Has anyone ever given you crap for wanting to spend time alone? That would be a big 10-4 on that one, good buddy!! When friends or family members do make comments about my alone time, it kinda hurts, but then again I quickly remind myself that a lot of people simply don't understand our need for al...

Re: Intoverted/Extroverted

Hey Amy, good topic!! I don't know how useful my input will be, but here goes.... I've been introverted my whole life. If anything, while on drugs (I should say while high), I was less introverted and a good deal more extroverted. Once I finally got off drugs, I think my true nature of being more in...
