Hi Jonboy!! I always smile when I read your posts! Thanks for that. I know absolutely nothing about coffee and depression except to say that when i used to have depressed episodes, i actually did feel better with my morning coffee. I wonder if there is some correlation between the two. However, caf...

Wonderful Read
I really got a lot out of all the replies. I must admit that prior to the reading of all the replies, I had my own opinion about whether or not I have suffered permanent damage or not to and from opiate abuse...I think I did.....as anytime I did indeed do without any opiates (abstinence) a year here...

I miss the connection sometimes
Yeah I never really minded driving there everyday either too much. Snow was a bit iffy at times but it was a way to stay connected to recovery daily plus, I have a wonderful counselor which is nit so often the case.

Update
BBoy I don't usually visit this forum too much anymore...I just felt like there was not enough methadone activity, although I must say I as a methadone client was offered a lot of support by all the people on this site. So it was nothing bad about the forum per say I just needed a more actively invo...

I knew from the get go that I would be on either suboxone or methadone for the remainder of my life when I first sought out help two years ago. I have countless relapses and I am finally in the state of mind to accept that I am chronic. I take methadone. I tried suboxone twice and although I did ind...

Congrats
Really happy for you. I could read the excitement in your words that you feel such a relief to be gaining some of your independence plus the pain management. I too found such relief in the split dose method. I have went thru three teeth breaking off at the gumline (so the nerve is exposed) and some ...

What a precious site
Oh my how beautiful from view she looks totally normal despite a few lines running around her. She will be fine but I totally understand your feelings about the "parenting room". To a parent there is no difference in dying or needing medical intervention whatsoever. The fear, panic, concern and pain...

Romanticizing
Oh Yeah I can't even begin to remember the countless times I told myself it would be different. I would just take a few a day or I would do just one bag a day etc...it never works. I have thirty years of history of trying to write the perfect story of how to do dope successfully. Tried and tried and...

I do not think they do peak and troughs for suboxone, but it is called serum blood level testing and a lot of clinics use it to determine several things. Dose increases and dose decreases. If your peak (4 hours after dosing) is high you can be toxic from methadone so they will immediately decrease y...

I can't help but wonder where people have been. Like the therapist found that story sad. I mean it was a great story it could have been a tragedy, but he got up wiped the blood up off his shoes of course, and went on. lol I got tickled thinking and relating to how fast he could run back in the store...

Unfortunately CPS usually gets involved for just a day or two. Don't worry tho they can not take your baby etc... Also the baby could have a few withdrawals but breastfeeding is a good way to possibly avoid those. My friend had to change OB-Gyn's and go to a different one as being on sub made her "H...

Spit out any saliva
If he will not let you try to subutex just to see if maybe it's the naxolene try spitting out any excess saliva after it absorbs/dissolves. Some people say they get relief from this.

There is always the chance that a medication will react in-adversely with someones make up. There is no way that a doctor can determine that IT IS NOT THE SUBOXONE. Your reactions might not be typical but there is always some non typical side effects noticed with every medication and for a doctor to...

I agree with Breezy I think given the amount of hydrocodone you were taking (????).... maybe the sub was too high of a dose. I think anyone trying to kick a habit that a doctor helped create in that the doctor prescribed opiates for pain and they (you) had to take it for a while, instead of you havi...
