Re: NEED DRUG TEST ADVICE, PLEASE
<<"They are ALOT more expensive than a regular drug screen">> That's actually a myth. You can find tests for bupe for under a dollar pretty easily. Not that it matters much because everything else you said was spot on. I just found it strange how cheap they actually are because I had always heard th...

Unfortunately it's not always as simple as providing a script for some jobs.. There are jobs out there that prohibit an employee from using subs (or any narcotic) - even when legally prescribed. I would imagine the health care fieldwould probably fall into that category- though I have no first hand ...

In addition to what lillyval said about your dr giving you enough for the move he/she might give you a referral to a new dr in your new location. That might save you the initial induction fees- since you've already paid for them. Run it by your current dr and see how they suggest you handle it I say...

. The big drawback with this method is it is too easy, so will always be tempting to go on another binge, knowing you can get back on the subs easy enough. Hence why I've been gone for a while :-(. I am now on 7.6 mg daily and am tapering down to 6mg where I will stay until I figure out wether abso...

Cool... This is a good idea. I like it. Thanks. As someone subjected to DOT testing I'm curious if its the same for me as it is for you. In my state it's your basic SAMSHA 5 panel test. When I was on subs I never felt anything but I hear its pretty common for people to get a buzz form subs so I'm su...

For me that was the only side effect of suboxone- unfortunately it's a big one... I think if you're careful (which it sounds like you are) you could definitely give tapering down a shot... Maybe this new romance is the spark you need to get completely off the subs? safely of course.. You never know....

Precipitated Withdrawal. I did it to myself twice. Once while driving in my work truck. Pulling over a 26' truck on the side of the road to projectile vomit, on all fours, as traffic whizzed by, several times, was certainly not a high point in my life. Lol. PW hits you fast & hard and it's the real ...

It only keeps me logged in if I make sure to check the box.. If not when I try to reply to a message it lets me type it and then kicks me back to the login screen.. That's after taking 2 or more attempts to get thru the log in..lol.. Thats my first warning to copy my reply before hitting submit.. Li...

Rn, It's cool, no harm, no foul.. It's all good.. Remember, we've ALL been where you are and know how you're feeling. One of the things subs will allow you to do is deal with the guilt.. You're not a bad person, you've got a disease, just like all of us.. I should point out I'm pro sub. I just kind ...

Lighten up RN, in the context of the topic it was perfectly acceptable to use the term "lucky". You're in a forum full of recovering addicts- theres not a person in here that hasnt been thru everything you have and wouldnt feel lucky if they could have tackled this at 35mg's per week . It was meant ...

I'm with Lilly on this one- I've just been trying to come up with a way to say it nicely. In this instance, sub would be the last thing I'd consider.. I'm not a big na/aa advocate for me personally, but for this instance that's the first thing I'd recommend. Man, I just can't see how a 35mg a week h...

Ok- so I tried closing all my tabs and doing a hard reset and then clicking the box that says "keep me logged in". It's actually been a little easier to log in- but it gives me that "invalid session" message now. It's nothing major, but based on Kelly having the same experience it sounds like someth...

I'll try that- never thought of that.. that could be it because it only seems to be on the ipad.. My desktop has the "keep me logged in" box checked but the iPad doesnt... Thanks edit** after I hit "submit" (from my desktop this time) it said "invalid session" and made me resubmit that last message....

I didn't know what section to put this in so I apologize if its the wrong one. Feel free to move it if it needs to be moved- just not to the members only section because I can't ever seem to log in any more. Lol Logging in has become a matter of pure luck for me anymore. Sometimes it takes 2,3 or ev...

Just talked to my buddy- he passed the hair test. Got the job. He WILL be driving for them eventually - they're actually getting him his CDL. That's a pretty good deal if you can get it. Lol. I also told him about the DOT and the prescriptions and he about shit himself. He had a dr appt last week an...

Whoa?!! They pulled his scripts? Is that even legal? Maybe the DOT guidelines are done by the states? I took a test for the DOT and the drug test was a breeze. A simple 5 panel urine screen. The physical was a pain in the ass because my blood pressure was slightly elevated so they made me come back ...
