Re: 1 year, yesterday

Thank you trainer; thank you Romeo. It seems most of the familiar faces I remember are less active. With that being said, Romeo, I applaud you for continuing to regularly post here and help everyone out. I know you don't have to be told this again, but you really are helping to save peoples lives. ...

Re: suboxone dr had to discharge me because i have medicare.

Might seem to some I'm half crazy and all over the map (and there's some truth to that), with trailing off into tangents about CIA plane crashes with tons of cocaine, etc, but, there is a big picture to tie it all in that might make more sense to a reader, perhaps. Business is good for everybody tho...

ok, back to the survey itself, perhaps there's a way to make it more user friendly,ie where one could answer the questions in some other way other than numbered comments to answer the survey questions, perhaps check boxes, or places under each question where one could answer. on my screen, by the t...

razor, the link is embedded in her fourth line. Click on that and it should take you to it. If not, well, she'll need to fix it. Jenny, I merged your other threads into this one . We don't need three subjects saying the same thing. All you need to do is add your comments to this thread and it'll br...

Re: Upcoming Survey on How Suboxone affects Mood Disorders.

I've been diagnosed with bipolar, and yes, it did have a mood stabilizing effect. I didn't really care for some of the side effects tho, such as loss of libido to name one, so personally, wouldn't want to use it for that purpose long term, otherwise I would find a way to use it in a non illicit mann...

Re: suboxone dr had to discharge me because i have medicare.

Oh, I heard a blurb on public radio about heroin use going up 200% since 2011. So the demand for Suboxone will also continue to rise. I didn't catch if they meant in my state, or nationwide, but, my oh my, call me a crazed conspiracy theorist, but opium production has gone up drastically in Afghanis...

Re: suboxone dr had to discharge me because i have medicare.

Yes tbis system is flawed... i pay cash. No ins. Tbe drs are telling tbe truth. Gov ins will only pay so much. And it is against the law for them to take cash..sad state.. NAABT.ORG.. This is an advocate org that stands up for people on suboxone treatment. They helped turn around the silly law here...

Re: suboxone dr had to discharge me because i have medicare.

You guys are scaring the hell out of me now. I just turned 60 last Friday so the Medicare problem is beginning to get closer. We need some kind of answers concerning our medication and government interference. I don't even know where to start except to ask our own Dr. Junig here. I'll send him a me...

Re: suboxone dr had to discharge me because i have medicare.

I wrote a post that touched on how much this sort of thing pisses me off. http://www.suboxforum.com/post85941.html?#p85941 I think it is criminal. I wish it was possible for the sub user community to start some kind of activist movement to get laws made that make sure everybody who needs it, has the...

Re:

I've found that I'd get some acne while detoxing off any drug. I always kinda viewed it as yet another way my body was trying to expel the toxins. If I was at your stage of taper, I'd put it down to the mild detox kicking in. This too, if constipation is or is no longer a problem. The Seroquel migh...

Re: Can Suboxone or sub detox cause acne?

I think the constipation some get while on suboxone, can cause acne for some people. A lot of toxins are eliminated when, well, "taking a dump". It's not just food processing. The lymph system which carries off a lot of the bad stuff that the immune system drops off, ends its journey in the intestin...

Re: Weird sleep trouble.....something watching me

Oh one more idea and possible suggestion, if it applies. I don't know if you are a smoker or not, but nicotine can cause some VERY vivid dreams. I know this from using the patch to try to stop smoking, and wearing it through the night. I tried taking it off before bed, and same thing, as the nicotin...

Re: Weird sleep trouble.....something watching me

Hey avinlo, and welcome to our forum! Yes, many others have had similar night terrors but nailing it down to what exactly is causing them is a problem. You mentioned many other supplements you take for various effects. Why don't you try to stop one of those for several days until the dreams stop. B...

Re: xanax and suboxone

I'd be in a coma if I took 5mg of Klonopin twice daily.. [...] 5mg of klonopin??? Sounds WAY too high. She or he probably made a typo and meant .5 mg (typing "0.5 mg" is even better to make sure it is clear for a reader), which is the most common starting dose of klonopin. A Dr's typing is almost a...

Re: xanax and suboxone

First off, old school valium is probably the best benzo to be used for a muscle relaxant. It's really wide spectrum, so treats a variety of ailments compared to the new generation of refined benzos, targeted for specific ailments, mostly anxiety, but other things, such as klonopin, which was primari...

Re: Suboxone Ruined me as a person...

My main issue with suboxone, it not the drug itself. It's major harm reduction, to switch to suboxone than it is to continue with on with a lifestyle that goes along with addiction to other opiates/opiods, whether diverted pharmaceutical narcotics, or heroin. My main issue is doctors who do things l...

I decided I had enough of all the addictions in my life. I dug through my bag of meds the VA shoveled in my pockets and found Naltrexone. I read it helped recovering from opiate addiciton. Boy was that a load of BS! I popped one on friday and 4 hrs. later I was in the ER with PAWS.. Sounds much wor...
