Hat...had I not seen it there so evidently I would not have believed it. The first thing he asks me was my doc methamphetamine (ice). I said no it was methadone thinking he just got the two confused in my records but he cleared that up by saying the only time he had seen such rapid decline was with ...

I am on methadone split dose not bupe but there are many people that take bupe twice a day heavier in the morning dose smaller at night and it works great that way. But as far as doctors or staff explaining well the only time I ever learned any rules at my clinic was when I or someone I knew broke a...

Bashful Kidneys
I cannot pee in front of my husband. Stupid I know but it's true. I think it is a violation. I had a nasty uncle who always wanted to come in the bathroom when I was a kid peeing or taking a bath it creeps me out so I filed a grievance and explained I had documented issues and I would sign a release...

Here is my two cents worth
. I will keep it short but I got to share this because just today I went to the dentist and priced out having a denture (upper). I cannot help but find this a little too coincidental. Yes we do not take care of our teeth when we are using with proper dental care and hygiene. Years ago I went to the ...

Right on
Diary of a Quitter you said it all right on. It actually made me proud that you were able to wrap it all up there like you did. In fact I am printing it and giving it to my adopted daughter that is on methadone and 12 weeks pregnant. I have told her basically the same thing but not said so eloquentl...

Triggers
One time in treatment I went thru this long listed out relapse inventory and even though I did see some relapses to be triggered I found most were not. I would not have ever thought this way if I had not done this inventory and sitting there looking over this long winded diatribe I found most of my ...

Breezy Ann or anyone can pick my brain for legal advice
I am pretty knowledgeable on the legal’s and even civils so anyone can pick my brain and if I don't know I can usually find out pretty quick. But Breezy Ann exercise right of Chapter 7 not 13 I want to get that right out of the way. In the end chapter 7 will be forgiven the same as 13 and with 13 ...

Are you eating poppy seed bagels or cake? Saturation needed
I think there is a certain need for saturation and what you have done is the opposite of that called titration. Well u said I think you actually told your doc what you had doen and did he not offer some advice to fix that? If not or you can't ask fear of consequences I would think best to go from 7 ...

Welcome Janabanana
So glad to hear your decision to stop. One thing I wanted to add to the suboxone helps the drinking issue whereas maybe the anabuse might become obsolete. You might want to discuss this with your doctor after you get stabilized on the suboxone. Don't do anything like that tho without discussing it w...

"Not" Addicted in 3 days
I have not had time to read what everyone posted and I have been called away here in a minute but real quick I wanted to tell you yes there is short term bupe usage for detoxing and you will be fine. I have taken bupe for detoxing only twice both for 7-10 days and I was fine afterwards.

:P Drugs don't discriminate. I am a paralegal and worked in and for a lawyer and at the courthouse for years in active addiction. I like you swore the heroin off until the bitter end. For different reasons though. I always knew I would love it or at least love the affects of it. Once I did the heroi...

Well I always get this when I quit using opiates. It is worsened at night because you lay there feeling a bladder urge and get up to pee and nothing and sitting there trying to expel urine makes it worse. THE BELOW IS THE ANSWER.
