Re: I need your help

I wouldn't be concerned about it. It would help to have a little backstory into your need for Suboxone...like why, how long, how bad, etc on your drug of choice or other reasons for Suboxone...

Have you never taken Suboxone or been inducted into this type of treatment?

Re: Post Tooth extraction and suboxone

I remember these days..and the post is here somewhere, but honestly didn't want to search for it, so I'll just paraphrase what I posted when I went through a similar situation: I had messed up teeth too..probably from the years of opiate abuse...it did a number on my dental health. After 3-4 years o...

Re: My Boss Is A Pervy Old Man. Lol!rn

I know a lot of CNAs working in nursing homes get groped “accidentally” all the time and are always dodging and weaving handsy patients. Lol. My 18 year-old daughter just started working at a health & rehab place..and she has told me stuff that's literally made me want to go beat some old man's ass...

Re: Insurance denying "early refill" for Vacation

I had this happen to me when I was leaving out for vacation to stay in a beach house for a week...around the end of may. I sent my doctor a text on Thursday explaining that I had just realized my appointment was on the following Tuesday, and we would be leaving out sunday for our 1-week trip. She dr...

Re: Help with Poll

A search showed me that there are 224 providers within 30 miles of my zip... Now, that doesn't necessarily mean there are 224 offices, many of these 224 are multi-doc facilities with each doctor being able to prescribe...much like the place that I go for my appointments. It has 5 doctors who each pr...

Re: Lawsuit against Suboxone Makers

A lawsuit? This is the first I've heard about it and I read the news everyday. IMO, you have nothing to worry about. My doctor has said nothing and the insurers are finding that long term maintenance works quite well for patients, especially now that it's in generic form. The cost keep going down. ...

Re: Lawsuit against Suboxone Makers

Yeah, I agree with Jonathan, I don’t think buprenorphine is going anywhere. I understand your worries about it but I don’t think you should stress out and let it bother you. I don’t know about this article or whatever you’re talking about and I haven’t read it but I don’t think it’s going to be com...

Re: Lawsuit against Suboxone Makers

Hello everyone, thanks for welcoming me into this forum. I have been a reader for years, and a Suboxone patient for 3 years now. I got a link sent to me that led me to many news articles about this recent lawsuit against the makers of Suboxone. From what I have read and researched today, there seem...

Re: NEW GENERIC STRIPS

I've changed from Sandoz to Dr. Reddy...back to Sandoz...then a mix of Dr Reddy and Sandoz...so this last time I asked specifically for the Dr. Reddy version. I can't tell a difference in the med...only that with the Dr Reddy, it has made me feel more ..drowsy? When I first got on Sub years ago, I u...

Got nothing from the RX about any sort of deadline. Not something they are familiar with. I use a small non-chain pharmacy because of these stories..Don't have to worry about this nonsense.

Re: The poppy farms that make our Suboxone

I always thought that Suboxone/Buprenorphine was a synthetic (ie., created in a lab) sort of drug. Had no idea that every single strip of RB Suboxone (or as in my case, changed to generic Sandoz Bupe/Nal) has an organically-grown additive to it. Very interesting.

Re: Sandoz Generic Strips

Same here (re: 1st post). And my insurance caught on around the same time (Caremark - CVS). The price difference made me think twice about it, but I decided on a trial month and I'm glad I did. The packaging, boxes, and strip look almost identical to RB brand...even down to the taste. And I can't te...

Re: Which side of the suboxone strip is the medication on?

This must be something with the newer generics or a different brand. I've only ever had the RB version, and most recently (as in, for the past day) the generic. I just took one of the generics out to look at it and I can feel the difference between the sides. Weird.

Re: Walgreens Issue with Pharmacist

Jonathan, since you have an in with this pharmacist, could you ask them what they think of this situation? For example, has your pharmacist ever heard of this alleged cut-off after a certain number of years? It would be interesting to get their perspective. Amy I'll talk to her when I go back next ...

Re: NEW GENERIC STRIPS

I was given the generics...mine are similar to the youtube vid above, except they say SANDOZ on them. Colors are close on packaging..
And the strip has N8 on it like RB's version.
Maybe it's the same with a different vendor/etc.

Re: Walgreens Issue with Pharmacist

...lets see...since 2008 I've been on Suboxone. Was using Fred's until they shut-down and I moved to a locally-owned pharmacy (actually, the husband-wife that went in debt to open the pharmacy--the husband works with my wife in an Alabama Power plant). Never had any sort of issue. I've changed docto...
