your symptoms/side effects might be caused by something else
Hi fellow addicts! :D Just wanted to share my experience hoping to maybe help someone else that is in the same boat as me! I have been on suboxone for a little over 2 years and for at least the past year I have been stabilized at 6mg. Ever since I started suboxone, I have had EXTREME constipation, E...

Ceiling dose???
Let me first say that the ceiling area is probably very personal and differs from patient to patient, But I just had my monthly suboxone group a couple days ago and we were told that it is being found recently that the ceiling dose is actually about 16mg.. Is there any truth to this?? I was always u...

Re: Not sure doc is telling the truth
That's not what I was saying, I just said if its something that is required by ones clinic to stay on suboxone, then they should probably just do it... its not worth getting kicked out in my opinion. I used to like NA meetings at first too but now not so much and yeah it sucks being forced to get st...

Re: Not sure doc is telling the truth
Oh yeah and end of august will be 2 years clean/on subs for me, and in order to stay on suboxone it is required by the clinic that you must go to three 12step meetings per week! So it could be worse.

Re: Not sure doc is telling the truth
I went to Arrowhead Behavioral Health in Maumee, OH and is where I still go for my suboxone. It is the best rehab/mental health facility in all of Toledo area. It is expensive but a nice place and their programs are so great and helpful. When you get out of inpatient stay (only if you are on suboxon...

Re: Headache Migraines
Diablo I am in the same predicament as you and I am so sorry you are so miserable because I know exactly how you feel! It is very depressing waking up feeling like shit/in pain every single day. I have had migraines since I was 12 and I am now 24. Nothing has helped, no answers found. I have been on...

Re: Is Suboxone making my migraines worse?
Thank you guys, Nice to know I am heard. And yeah I have known about people spitting out the saliva to help decrease their headaches I just never tried it because I didn't think it would help. These are so much worse than the average headache. And I have pretty much come to accept that I will just b...

Is Suboxone making my migraines worse?
Hey all, sorry if this is in the wrong place I just wasn't sure where I should put it.. But anyways, I have been suffering from migraines since I was about 12 years old and I am now 24. I have been on suboxone for 1 year & 10 months now, and lately my migraines have been unbearable, the worst they h...

Re: Low libido and erectile dysfunction.
Yeah I don't like blaming everything that happens to me on the medications that I'm currently prescribed, and I hate when my Primary care DR does that. She is always pressuring me to get off suboxone every time I see her and it really pisses me off. Every time, "are you off suboxone yet??" no I'm no...

Re: Low libido and erectile dysfunction.
Are there any other WOMEN out there that have this problem???? All I have seen is men posting about this. I am 24 and only think of having sex very rarely. I assumed it was because of the suboxone because this happened when I went on it years ago before my relapse but I have lowered my dose A LOT fr...

Re: Subutex constipation help
Hey Richard I'm not sure if you will even see this but maybe I can help someone else out.. Ive been on suboxone for almost 2 years now and have had severe constipation and excessive sweating the entire time I have been on it. I have went over a week without a single bowel movement. I have decreased ...

Re: Anyone have regular BM's or stomach on Subs?
Just a suggestion for anyone that suffers severe constipation as a side effect (as do I), I regularly see a GI doctor due to other nonrelated issues but MiraLax is the ONLY thing that helped me. I have tried increasing my water intake, laxatives, stool softeners, enemas  (which was a traumati...

Re: Body heat, or sensation of warmth..?
I am always hot. ALWAYS. And I sweat A LOT. I know the suboxone is a factor because the same thing happened when I was on it a few years ago. My face is always flushed, very rosy red cheeks and red/pink face all the time, my face always feels like its burning up. Even in the shower I have to just le...

Re: Subutex and Topamax
Naproxen is a NSAID too so be aware of how much and how often you're taking it. No, I have never had botox injections, my doctor has pretty much given up on trying to help me, we tried two preventatives and neither of them helped one bit. But I know that not all meds work for everyone, there are ple...

Re: Subutex and Topamax
Hey Jenn, you're doing the right thing by taking prilosec. If the lining of your stomach is tore up from NSAIDs like mine was, prilosec will help it heal. I know on the bottle it says take everyday for 2 weeks then stop, but if your stomach lining is damaged you probably need to take it a lot longer...

Re: Subutex and Topamax
Also for any migraine sufferers or people who get headaches frequently be very careful about how much ibuprofen and asprin you take... Check all OTC pain meds like Excedrin, Bayer, Aleve.. NSAID's tear up your stomach. I was taking ibuprofen so much that it caused erosion all over the lining of my s...

Re: Subutex and Topamax
I have been having chronic migraines for years probably over 10 years now. I have been on generic Topamax two times now, the first time was in my early teens before I ever started suboxone or touched any drug. Both times I was prescribed it never helped my migraine frequency or severity whatsoever. ...
