Re: NEW GENERIC STRIPS

So I am not sure how that means that Suboxone name brand is discontinued and now there are only “generic” buprenorphine/naloxone films available currently? If Suboxone name brand is “no longer”, that doesn’t make sense to me. Sorry I’m just confused as I’m hearing two different things here since ask...

Re: NEW GENERIC STRIPS

And yes amy my doctor writes for name brand. Where I go to, All the patients have specific prescriptions to what exactly they will ...

Re: NEW GENERIC STRIPS

I have ALWAYS taken name brand. It is what my doctor writes for. Just got my new script filled (that was for SUBOXONE... and received a generic instead. I double checked and the prescription did say suboxone. Why would the pharmacy do this? After almost 5 years, I have never had anything other than ...

Re: Bye bye Suboxone

So sorry suboxone isnt working for you. A LOT of people dont even know how to take it, (doctors and nurses dont know how important proper administration is so they never mention it) so I have to ask, are you actually taking your suboxone the RIGHT way??? Also, are you seeing a psychiatrist and psych...

Re: Norbuprenorphine often not showing in my urinalysis!?

Hi there! I completely believe you when you say you are experiencing those common withdrawal symptoms in between doses... I get the same thing, although mine usually comes in the morning, when I am due for my daily dose. (I am currently on 4mg/day by the way and never got crappy feelings like that o...

Re: Suboxone at 2 mg currently, have ability to go lower.

To anyone considering getting on an antidepressant for tapering/jumping off, I urge you to get stabilized on the antidepressant BEFORE you even consider "jumping" or going off your suboxone or buprenorphine. As im sure a lot of us know, antidepressants can make you feel MUCH worse before you feel be...

Re: What are lowest dosages of monthly injections?

BlueLight, is there any particular reason you do this? Are you on a low dose that also causes you to feel "icky" in the mornings? Do you take your entire daily dosage all at once like this? or are you on a low enough maintenance dose to where you benefit from splitting the dose to more than one time...

Re: What are lowest dosages of monthly injections?

To the OP, Have you ever tried taking one of your doses right before you go to bed? Maybe that would help with how you feel upon waking up?? I could never do it myself because Id be up all night, but I also deal with feeling "shitty" in the mornings until around noon. I get SUPER sweaty and just fee...

Re: 10 months on subs, 2 day relapse.

Maybe its just me, but I never understood why people use while also being on suboxone. Do you even get any type of euphoria??? even at 4mg? Like what is the point? lol I just want to help people and I wish people could learn from MY mistakes. You can't EVER do it "just one more time". Please try to ...

Re: Dropping from 24mg to 8mg

Everyone's bodies are so different so it's impossible to know if you will feel those "effects" at lower doses but just remember that not everyone does... Just because some people say that Suboxone does not make them "feel" anything, doesn't mean that they are not being honest. But I could definitely...

Re: Dropping from 24mg to 8mg

Hey jjs, dont be concerned with the possibility of feeling "high" or drowsy or whatever at a low dose... Like I said, I was only taking 1mg for months and I NEVER felt anything similar to being high. And I know it can be scary, but I think it would be a lot better for you if you dropped from 1mg ins...

I completely understand wanting to "stockpile".. I did the same thing and have no shame or guilt in doing that. BUT I was going to say the same exact thing that Jenn said!!... As long as having "extra" laying around does not trigger you or temp you to "take a little more", then by all means, go for ...

Re: Sweating - How to help it?

Yes but you know doctors love to blame everything on suboxone. they will say it is a side effect from the med (even tho Ive had this issue since I was in kindergarten at least, for as long as I can even remember) They will just say to get off suboxone and it will go away, which is NOT true in my cas...

Re: Is it possible to love our pets too much?

Nothing compares to the love you get from an animal. They are simply too innocent and "good" for this world. My rabbit has saved my life and helped bring me out of a terrible depression that lasted years before I even got in recovery. It is sad to think there will be a time when he won't be around, ...
