Re: No more masturbation or sex drive

Amy, yes once the sexual acts are initiated I am definitely into it. It's the getting horny part that I really struggle with. My boyfriend is 40 but has the sex drive of an 18 year old boy LOL he always wants it. But he is so loving and understanding. I just wish I could give him more. And I definit...

Re: I am off Subutex with hardly any withdrawals!!

I agree with you Amy and know many people that take more than their prescribed dose to "feel" something, which definitely points to an "addiction" to sub, instead of just being "dependant". Some people use it to feed their addictive nature, even though we all know Suboxone just does not work like th...

Re: No more masturbation or sex drive

I'm a 26yr old female with similar issues myself as far as sex drive goes. I never masturbate because I just don't want to and hardly ever have sex. I just don't get horny. I feel so bad as my significant other is my other half and it has absolutely nothing to do with him. He is amazing and we have ...

Re: Wellbutrin and buprenorphine

Hey Ashlee, It's totally understandable why u stopped. You were only using it for help to quit smoking. If you were getting on it for severe depression that was destroying your quality of life, that would be more of a reason to want to hang in there and wait it out. When you're severely depressed it...

Re: Prior authorization

Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, BEETLEJUICE!!!!! LOL I would just suggest you call the Dr on Monday and say the Wellbutrin was giving you suicidal thoughts and you took it upon yourself to stop. Doctors don't really appreciate when their patients change their treatment plan without approval. In your situa...

Re: Prior authorization

Ashlee, I'm glad you're stopping if it made you feel that bad!! I know the feeling, it's the worst. Did you at least tell your doctor and get their approval?? Antidepressants can give withdrawals if stopped abruptly. I know you haven't been taking it long at all, so you should be fine but at least l...

Re: Hair loss (Alopecia) and regrowth after suboxone use?

I suggest you look up the science behind hair growth. All the different growth stages. Hair growth and loss is controlled by the follicle. Although some medications will cause the hair growth cycle to speed up (stop growing and fall out sooner), I don’t believe suboxone is the cause for your hair lo...

Re: short relapse - need support

I’m not trying to tear you apart or sound like I am judging you because trust me I’m not! but I just disagree with you personally and hope you can understand what I was saying.. recovery SHOULD come first because if you continue to use drugs you WILL lose your job AND your family. If you can’t stay ...

Re: Wellbutrin and buprenorphine

Ashlee, All of those things I experienced also when I started taking Wellbutrin. I hated it and I felt like I was turning into a freaking warewolf or something LOL I was so angry all the time and wanted to cry about nothing. It gave me the emotional roller coaster feeling for sure. Which is definite...

Ashlee, You are doing great. It is normal for us to worry when our recovery(life) is on the line. And congrats on stopping the weed smoking!! Hey thisisme, You really need to obtain your bupe legally or else you are just setting yourself up to fail... ESPECIALLY when your dealer of bupe also deals H... You cannot partake in illegal drug seeking acts and successfully recover. It just doesn't work like that. Im sure it has been attempted pl...

Re: I am off Subutex with hardly any withdrawals!!

Sorry if you said it before, but can I just ask what possessed you to jump off after only 3 months of tapering when you had been on it for 6 years?? If you were on it for 6 years you must have known that would not be a good idea?? Did you do any recovery work in the 6 years you were on initially or ...

Re: Prior authorization

Ashlee, I wish you only the best and you HAVE to let us know what happens ! But I think they legally have to give you some type of notice, IF they were going to ever "cut you off" .... Its unethical, even for insurance companies. I would imagine that they would have had to send you some type of lett...

Hey Ashlee, I live in Northern Ohio (near michigan border & lake erie) and go to a mental health/rehab hospital for my suboxone.. We have recently been told that there is a new "rule" that all of their patients must show signs of intent to get off by having everyone lower their dose by around 25-50%...

I had a huge issue with constipation and bloating the entire time ive been on subs, but once I got under 4mgs/day it improved greatly. I would like to ask how long you took Miralax daily before deciding that it was not helping you. It HAS to be taken every single day or will not work. and it takes a...

Re: Enhanced sense of smell and taste (Hyperosmia)

Do you have any other symptoms besides the "sensory overload" feeling??? I get this way when I get my migraines. Everything is magnified times 1,000,000! Smells, Lights, Noises, everything! Maybe I'm reaching here, but this could be something that is neurologically related, even if you dont experien...
